3. It is quite interesting that they only asked HALF the respondents the...
health care questions. Why on earth would they do that?

That aside, this response is very encouraging:

In any health care proposal, how important do you feel it is to give people a choice of both a public plan administered by the federal government and a private plan for their health insurance––extremely important, quite important, not that important, or not at all important?

Extremely important 45
Quite important 27

for a total of 72% in support of the inclusion of a public plan.

In reading the whole poll, the language in the some of the questions are incredibly leading, imo.

5. Those gay marriage numbers are really good
I'm surprised just how much gay marriage support has gone up in 5 years according to those polls, from 62% opposed and 30% supporting it in 2004, to 49% opposed today to 41% supporting it nationally. That's a 13 point drop in 5 years, and it brings it below 50% opposing it.

If that trend keeps up then in 2012 by election day gay marriage opposition will stand at 42%, while gay marriage support will stand at 47% or 48% (depending on how you round it). That's awesome for equality.

8. Uhm, "because Obama's approval numbers are lower than his vote numbers"?
Wait for it, I'm sure such a spin is coming.

7. Look at pg. 2, the part about "headed in the right direction..."
the highest number that question received was in September 2001. I wonder if that was before or after 9/11?

If it was before, that's so heart breaking.

9. Begs the Question, What is Scott Rasmussen Smoking?
He still has the Repukes with the advantage in just about everything, and Obama with a disapproval rating of 52%
