He is taking no prisoners.

Also going after Nelson and Landrieu on not voting for cloture.

25. Lieberman has one master and that it Isreal...
He will enter any agreement with any group of political affairs if it is linked to a promise to stand behind the State of Isreal...

I'm not by any stretch of the imagination anti-Semitic. It's just that the reality of the situation for Joe is that the continued existence of Israel is the most important issue for the United States so he will do what ever it takes to make sure there is no wavering in support for Israel and will make any deal to keep Israel viable even if the best interest of the US occasionally take a back seat.

11. I read it as the poster saying that Lieberman was always on the fringe of joining the Limbaugh group
IE, he was never one of us.

I'm pleased as punch that he called Joe out.

I hope the people of CT do it next election cycle, too.

8. Maybe he can laugh at Phewlenty
who has already said HIS state of Minnesota is going to opt out of the health care bill...Lots of luck on that president wanta be...the state congress is democratic...But then he has to pretend he IS somebody...after all those states that opt out loose federal money.

But one thing I will say Minnesota has a very good health care plan for citizens who can't afford regular health care. Not by Phewlenty's doing. He has cut it as much as he can. He wanted to do away with it all together.

The people of Minnesota who qualify because of their low salary pay a premium (based on salary) and then a co pay of 3 dollars for doctor visits and prescriptions. I know Phewlenty is twisting in his shorts because he wasn't allowed to cut it off. He cut funds to hospitals, doctors, schools and all the social programs he could. While giving big business tax breaks. Now saying the state doesn't have any money (Justifying cutting social funds) he is pushing for a new stadium for the Vikings. How in Hades could you justify a new stadium when you can't pay for school lunches and improvement in schools and hospitals. Besides the money will only benefit the area around the stadium and that's all his republican buddies.

He's narcissistic and wants everyone to be looking at him. It's all about Joe and when people don't pay enough attention to him he goes all rogue. I have zero respect for him.

Who you got respect for? Leiberman? Landrieu? Democrats -- or former Democratic VP nominees -- who want to sell out Americans to the insurance industry?

17. That's what Ed is trying to help accomplish
in a very forceful, vocal way.

If you want the PO, can't understand why you'd take such issue with him today, as he was getting fired up and calling those who want to impede reform to the mat!

24. Where in anything I posted
do you read that I took any issue with Ed? I didn't see his show but got that he was coming out against Liebermann. What did I write that makes you think I take any issue at all with that stance? Good for him to callout Liebermann and insurance industry tools like him.

18. So what?
He also retained his powerful position as Chairman of the Homeland Security committee in the Senate after turncoating during the election and prepping Bible Spice on foreign policy.

The people of CT will finally wake up to this POS clown, after this ridiculous move, which is probably more about getting attention, than anything else.

22. My only POV is that...
Lieberman wants to show voters in CT that he is not beholden to
any party, and he is really "independent". It is all about JOE.
He does'nt give a whitt about the democratic party. What is really
important to him is that he remain a US Senator for life.

next election. He got voters from conservatives and lost liberals.

Joe isn't doing what you lamely claimed.

Joe wants to drone on in his whiny whimper on the Sunday talk shows.

They haven't invited him on in a while. You know why? He's been irrelevant for quite a while. Tried to get some of it back by endorsing and stumping for McCain and the Quitta from Wasilla. Worked for a while. Now, he needs to have another tantrum to try to get the microphones trained on him again.

The people of CT are not this stupid. Joe is heading towards retirement. Thank God.

32. Last time I checked, Joe is still the senator from CT
I am willing to bet if he runs again he will be re-elected in CT.
I just can't see him losing in CT. He has way too much name recognition
and way too many friends, and way too much campaign cash from the
insurance industry there.

Democrats 33%
Independents 54%
Republicans 70%

What I could never understand is why Obama supported this bastard to keep his chairmanship.
