3. SNL FAIL: Only 23% say Obama has accomplished "little or nothing"
Edited on Mon Oct-19-09 05:17 PM by PinkOwl
49% say great deal or "good amount." 27% say "not much," and 23% say "little or nothing" making Saturday Night Night a clueless under-informed TV show, at least that day.

4. I commend SNL for prodding our President to do more
Edited on Mon Oct-19-09 05:20 PM by Xipe Totec
I do not want him resting on his laurels.

Especially not now, so early in the game.

I want him to always worry that he is not doing enough for us.

I want him to try to please us as hard as he can...

ALWAYS!

16. It's not lying; it's hyperbole
exaggeration to the point of absurdity.

This is SNL we're talking about, not CBS news.

Let's keep some perspective.

18. But it's up from the 100 day mark....
.... of course there's no way to know (from looking at that poll) when that increase occured. I believe that meme was born soley out of that skit and the press gave it legs.

7. Why is Gallup showing fluctuations, today was -2 with 51/42?
One -2 on a rolling 3 day average is a big drop, also there was that infamous -4 drop after nobel boost.

8. Because daily polls have fluctuations
A -4 drop shouldn't be read too strictly, as these polls contain "noise."

In a thread yesterday attacking Obama, somebody claimed that I was the last person still on the Obama bandwagon.

Could he have had his information wrong? Gee whiz.

.... some VERY important sections that I see.... (it's a little hard to read the way I've posted it, so go read it yourself! lol)

Do you think things in this country (are generally going in the right direction) or do you feel things (have gotten pretty seriously off on the wrong track)?

**Not to bash Clinton, but to compare to another Democrat, Obama 13 pts higher than Clinton and roughly the same stage.**
Obama has been president for about nine months. Would you say he has accomplished a great deal during that time, a good amount, not very much or little or nothing?

Obama admin doing a CRAPPY job of selling the public on the notion that HCR will decrease the deficit***

Because I've been hearing for months now Obama's numbers are tanking and his presidency is in peril and how the GOP is surging and how we're all fucking doomed like the goddamn BETAMAX.

So WTF?
