Poll question: Is the GOP trying to box the Obama Administration into open ended Afghanistan commitment?
Where they hope his presidency will founder?

And trying to use "Br'er Rabbit" reverse psychology to accomplish this?

2. Obama is Commander in Chief of US armed forces.
The GOP can't really make him do anything involving the military.

3. No, I believe it is
the Presidents decision. If his Presidency flounders over the wars it's his choice.

4. It is Obama's war now, just as Vietnam became LBJ's war in 1965
when LBJ decided to stay in Vietnam and boost our military presence in that country.
