With President Obama's statement that with-drawl from Afghanistan

will not even be considered, has he saddled himself with the legacy of being a "War President"? I have begun to hear that term being used in the media. I find the fact that with-drawl is not even a topic for discussion perplexing. What is it we, the public, don't know about this war? Why is it so important that staying is the ONLY option? Given that fact is the only option then I believe we owe it to the soldiers we send over there to do everything possible to keep them safe and achieve the objective, whatever that is. I will be very interested to see what the strategy sessions going on now will come up with.

1. If we withdraw completely the military industrial complex won't be sucking billions...

...out of taxpayers anymore ~ it's as simple as that.

And the news that Obama is looking for the "middle ground" is not good. Instead of doing what really needs to be done, he's always looking for that ineffective middle ground that nobody will be too pissed off about ~ except the voters, who obviously don't count.
