Bob Dole comes out in support of health care reform.
"This is one of the most important measures members of Congress will vote on in their lifetimes," the former Republican Senate majority leader and presidential candidate told an audience in Kansas City today. "If we don't do it this year I don't know when we're gonna do it.

Dole and two other former Senate leaders, Republican Howard Baker and Democrat Tom Daschle, are preparing to release a statement urging Congress to move on health care...

Is he in favor of Public Option or Single Payer, or is he in favor of this debacle of
an attempt by Blaucus(?) Which is Which?

I won't get all shook up because he is in favor, the devil is in the details.

5. I remember the old fossil giving the GOP response to WJC's pitch
with an easel containing a poster of a spaghetti bowl allegedly depicting the "Big Government Boondoggle" that would ensue if Clintoncare passed. :mad:
