It must be a strange world to live in where you view the world through the eyes of Fox News pundits like Glenn Beck, listen to Rush Limbaugh on the radio, and go to meetings featureing Joe the Plumber as the keynote speaker:

The TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party will take place 10 a.m. Saturday on the Winnebago County Courthouse Stairs, 415 Jackson St.
Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, who rose to prominence in the 2008 presidential campaign debates and is better known as Joe the Plumber, will be one of the speakers.
"Ted and I kind of dreamed this up, we heard about the other ones throughout the state and the nation," Fitzsimmons said. "It's basically concerned citizens who are tired of the government taxing us into oblivion. We want taxes lowered, we want government to be smaller and we want to have more local authority over our business."
As for getting Joe the Plumber to come, they simply asked him.
"A friend of Ted's had met him at another TEA Party, got his number, and the guy said he would come for us," Fitzsimmons said.
