The point of this thread is to gather data.

Kick, Rec, Unrec, I don't care. It's a data thread.

of Taza octagonal Stone ground Mexican Chocolate w/chili. I work in a natural food co-op and we have all kinds of decadent varieties of Chocolate. The trick is extreme moderation which I have learned.:)

"Guajillo Chili - Chocolate Mexicano"

"In Oaxaca, Mexico you can order your chocolate fresh ground to order. This authentic recipe from the streets of Oaxaca City is the simplest, most delicious chocolate you'll ever taste. Made only with our Mexican stone mills (molinos), this chocolate contains only three ingredients: roasted cocoa beans, cane sugar, and guajillo chili powder. Whip up a rich, authentic taza de chocolate mexicano, or eat it as is! USDA organic and Directtrade™."

12. The U came as a clear way of by passing the "rules"

(snip)

Do not use your signature line to draw negative attention to another member of the board.

=====

There are many here who get their post "Ued," regardless of what they say, just like there are others who get any post "Red," again, regardless of what they say.

This U was mean spirited from day one. Apparently, the first Us were not limited to 24 hours, so some threads that were still active - on the smaller forums - and that were several months old got Ued.

Frankly, I think that this is the way the owners chose to atone for failing to declare Obama winner back in March 2008, or so. Had we had this system in place, no thread praising Hillary or attacking Obama would have ever made it to the "Greatest" - they would have been drowned.

P.S. - I just Red this post, just as I do with practically every post that has less than 0. It is my small protest... as long as I chose to stay a member.

14. I don't see U or R as approval or condemnation.
To me, they're just another data point, an expression by the peers of whether or not a post should be considered for placement on "greatest" or not.

17. It is a fatally flawed datapoint. None of pro-Hillary posts would have made 'Greatest Page'
under the Unrec/Rec scheme during the primary season. As a matter of fact, none of the threads favoring other candidates would have made the now-misnamed 'Greatest Page', except the one candidate favored by the organized DLC brigade.
