Jim Miklaszewski (MSNBC) is a complete stooge
He filed a report from the Pentagon about half an hour ago that was stunning for its mendacity.

He claimed that a delay in granting extra troops for Afghanistan "could" endanger US troops based there. This is a lie. It's already been reported that even Petraeus has said that due to the Afghan winter, the troop increase wouldn't be required until next year. NEVER did Miklaszewski mention this - he made is sound as though if the troops weren't provided immediately, current troops would die.

Then he followed the GOP playbook by blaming the delay on health care reform, that Obama has been 'focused' on this instead of Afghanistan. Yes, because of health care reform our troops might be endangered.

As if this wasn't bad enough, this nitwit then claimed that US troops could be in DIRE circumstances if the troops aren't immediately reinforced. DIRE. Again, a total lie. If this stooge reports on the Pentagon, don't you think he'd be aware of the reporting that any troop increase won't be required until next year? Of course he knows.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. In a nutshell, because of health care reform, President Obama is endangering our troops and putting them in a dire situation. It was like some fantasy spun on Fox "News".

3. It's an old Muslim tradition to stay low in Winter and wage war in Summer.
I hope that our military leaders and Obama don't forget this.

8. Miklaszewski has been covering the Pentagon for so long, he
thinks he's one of them. He's lost his objectivity.
