People who pay attention for themselves know this man is fighting for us but there will still be some who depend on the media for their cherry picked soundbites.

17. Did He Just Acknowledge "The" John Edwards?? I Haven't Watched His Speeches
much of late... seems there's one every day, HOWEVER, as I walked by I heard the name JOHN EDWARDS and want to know IF anyone else heard his name?

I KNOW I heard John Edwards plainly, but is there ANOTHER John Edwards??? If it IS "THE" John Edwards then THANK YOU SO MUCH BARACK OBAMA!!

I have NO DOUBT I'm going to get LOTS of "negative" posts about THE John Edwards, but I really don't give a tinker's damn... FLAME away... I STILL think despite all that went on, that JOHN EDWARDS was, and still continues to fight THE GOOD FIGHT for those less fortunate and those POVERTY Stricken people of America!!

I'm NOT going to get into a "pissing" fight with ANYONE about it, I made my decision a LONG TIME AGO! If so many others have been given a pass about indiscretions, and there ARE some BIG Democrats who are on the list, then to single JOHN EDWARDS out as the WORST Democrat ever, just WON'T FLY WITH ME!! And to include the "hedge fund" business, just think about how many Democrats who are SELLING us down the stream regarding HEALTH CARE!!!! AND, don't forget about ALL THAT TARP money that's getting pissed away too!!!

That's how I feel, and I'm STICKING TO IT!! He had many very good ideas, and I don't condone his actions, but when throwing stones and pointing fingers.... there are many out there who have done MUCH WORSE! And I'm not just talking about Democrats!!

BFEE has been a travesty for this country... try screaming about THEM AGAIN!!

70. For SURE You Can! I'm Just Asking Questions! What Baucus Offered
kind of turns me OFF, a lot! I KNOW Obama has said he wants a Public Option... I WANT TO SEE IT TOO!!

I know TOO MANY PEOPLE living in POVERTY who are doing WITHOUT!! I'm sorry, but I didn't check to see where you're from, but I have a friend who barely has a home. I live down here in "Sunny" EXTREMELY hot and muggy Florida and she lives WITHOUT air conditioning, only basic TV and I gave here a micro-wave/convection oven that I bought at a garage sale. Their stove broke! NOW I'm trying to find SOMEONE to mow her grass for here BEFORE the county condemns the place! I can't mow it myself because the grass is too high, and heavens knows what might be hiding in it! I don't have a way to get a mower over there! PLUS she cares for her elderly mother who had a heart attack and is confined to bed! Her mother COULD go into a Nursing home, but then my friend who has NO INCOME coming in will lose the house! Her mother will be required to go on Medicaid, and her mother got a "reverse mortgage" just to keep the home! My friend will have to sell it, but the price she "might" get won't be enough to cover the mortgage that is on the house now! It's a real mess!

I had some extra fans that I took over there too because it's so very hot! It's NOT pretty picture, and she HAS NO health insurance! Many so called places around here that we've contacted for help are FULL UP! It's hard for me to go over there because it's very depressing!

"A man screams: "Your health care kills children!" Those around him boo. Obama keeps talking. The man keeps screaming about infanticide and abortion until security comes to escort him out."

http://www.politico.com/politico44/wbarchive/whiteboard09172009.html

So this is nothing new ..... this idiot was the same "Obama is a baby killer" type of protestor we've seen forever.

Of course the irony is that Barack Obama is going to do MORE to help children and pregnant mothers than any Republican ever did.

56. I love the man...
As much as I disagree with some of his decisions - esp. bank bailouts - I can see this is a BLESSED individual. I have made the calls and sent the emails, written the LTTE - I want to do MORE to support him, his agenda, HCR.

I make sure my teenage daughter understands that she is living in a time of history-changing leadership; once in thousand years. I tend to see things from a long, historical perspective. Interesting to think of Obama's presidency (and the vitriol on the other side) in those terms...

71. It bothers me he still talks of a bipartisan bill. Does he still believe this or is it show?
Because if he still hasn't figured out that the Republicans will NEVER work with him because they want to see him fail then that is a bad sign of an incredibly naivete on his part.

75. It's show. He made it clear that he will not put up with anyone who wants to kill the bill...

and he's not naive. He knows what the Repubs. are saying. But he says he WANTS Repubs. to be part of this so he looks bigger than them. And he IS.

76. What do you expect him to say in public? 'The repukes, can go to hell???'
That's never going to happen. He's making it clear that their intention is to block progress no matter how often he extends his hand. It will help Dems in 2010.

77. Because in the end
the sad reality is he will still need Republican voters to be re-elected. It sucks but what can you do? He's at least got to show that he's still willing to work with the idiots in Congress.

Having said that I don't think he's dumb enough to believe what he's saying about bi-partisanship though.
