If republicons were to win the presidency again..
what do you think they would have in mind for us as a country? From, watching these townhalls and rightwing talking heads.

It is obvious that they don't think that a president is suppose to be the president for all of the country but only flyover country,or the beltway. When listening to republicons like coburn they seem to think that there is no need for government so what in the hell is he doing in the government. Why do we even need a government and if republicons don't believe in government why do they want to be a part of it so much.

As I see it they believe that everything in the country should be privatize so that they can price things so high that we the people can't afford anything and the only ones who can are the rich. From, what I see they also believe that everyone should live on the street and that churches or synagoues will supply all of our needs.

If the parishoners don't have jobs or money then how can the churches help the people. I know plenty of people who have paid their tithes over the years and now can't get help..But,the so call good, good, goody republicons will take care of everything. So what do you thing these rightwing nuts intend to do?

They seem to have put tax cuts into every damn bill that comes up so what do they really want to do and will their stupid base continue to follow? Do you think some of these people get it yet meaning what was done during the Bush years to put this country in the shape it is in?

1. I said this in a post last night and I believe it....
(start)

I have also been thinking this... it may be my new sig line, and I really like the old one but...

ONE MORE REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION, AND WE'RE PRETTY MUCH DONE.

Four years (God forbid eight) of a Dick Cheney, Mitt, Jindal, Palin, Pawlenty, Cantor, Santorum, Jeb or any of these guys that can, and will, be told what to do (maybe not Cheney, he's got his own game plan) and it's over for us.

And call me crazy, but they stole two elections recently, and would have stolen the LAST one but our guy was TOO strong a player.
We may not have that kind of result the next time.

(end)

These guys get a shot at the title again (meaning the Supreme Court and the ability to start another war) and you can kiss this country goodbye.

Maybe I am overstating things a bit, but I defy anyone to argue that in 2000, they were able to predict just how BAD things would be with that dry drunk, Christian fascist, "W" in charge.

No one could have predicted how bad he was going to be.
And they can't WAIT to get Palin in the mix.
She'll make the monkey look like a freaking Rhodes scholar.

That's got me worried.

4. I didn't know just how bad because I had never seen..
anything like the neo-cons. But I knew his father had a really stubborn streak, and once Bush chose Cheney, I knew we were in big trouble.

6. I discovered Limbaugh...
late one night on the radio in the 80's and I couldn't believe what I was hearing then. Soon he got his television show and many I know began screaming "who in the hell is this crazy mf. I told them there were more where he came from.

They have become worse over the years. Now,they have lost their damn minds because the president is a different color than previous presidents. Even though the last one wasn't even the president..

5. I agree..
and there are millions who don't even realize what they have done already. Many of the repubs don't seem to get the fact that if the ship goes down we all do.

When I listen to some of these people on cspan I think that some of them really think that their money will protect them from everything. Many of these people really do think that if they make many suffer they will go on enjoying themselves as though the rest of the country will just sit there and take it while they are homeless or are watching their children go hungry.

They are really, really, insane. The talking heads on fox seem to think that as time goes on they will be comfortable and protected in their gated communities. We didn't just start losing jobs this has been going on all during the bush adm many layoffs by the thousands every week and I waited for the media to report it but,now they are all to happy to report every minute and they just couldn't wait to say that this is Obama's economy.

The republicons blocked most of the help for a lot of people in the stimulus package and added many tax cuts, those in the house in the senate are only trying to find ways to make more loopholes so they can benefit if bush's tax cuts did so much why in the hell are so many still complaining. Many still need help in lots of areas, they haven't seen nothing yet...

17. Sadly, I think you are 100% correct.
And Obama will NEED a second term just to even begin to get us back to where we were in 2000.

25. And I would counter that, unless this administration/Congress does something to
wrench the government of this country away from the monied interests that have swallowed it whole, the country is ALREADY finished. We're not in a position to prevent the country's imminent demise—that's already happened—the question is whether what was lost can ever be rediscovered, rebuilt, resurrected. And I think that, given the repeated concessions this administration has made, time and time again, to business interests, it's pretty clear that their loyalties lie with corporate America and not with The People. Look at the wording of every statement the White House makes on the health care debate—there's never a doubt that making sure the healthcare-industrial complex stays happy is priority one.

Unless the climactic scenario from "V For Vendetta" happens here, we're done.

13. Well of course. George Bush did not "win" the 2000 election and 2004 is very questionable.

21. Graham,Lieberman and McCain...
the three stooges. Remember what McCain said he would do if he won. He said cut every budget and eliminate most social programs and increase military spending. Graham whispers in McCain's ear a lot.

19. They will win it again, there's no doubt about that......
if history is any indicator then the Democrats will be in office for a while and get things back to normal again. Once that happens the repukes will get into office somehow and totally screw up everything like they always do. Then the Democrats will be elected again to fix things and this cycle will continue over and over. It's how it's always been in this country, we take 2 steps forward only to take 3 steps back.

22. I don't think that it will work that way..
especially now watching all of these people on telev crying and afraid just because the President will be giving a speech to the children. If these nuts get back into office anytime soon or take over the senate we may be done for.I saw this woman on cnn and she was really shaking and crying because Obama was going to give a speech to the children.

Fox has a televison special they have been showing day in and day out about "Do you know what textbooks your kids are reading" this is some more of their brainwashing and these ignorant people are soaking it in, Tucker carlson is the host and Slannity is being pre-empted so that they can show this over and over and that is why we see ignorant people like this woman shaking and crying because a president is speaking at her children's school.

I didn't really realize how they have brainwashed these people to hate black people. Their favorite buzz word when discussing blacks is RADICAL.I guess somehow it is suppose to mean black panthers or something and if you throw in a little Farrakhan, jesse,Sharpton, rev.wright and Bill ayers they really does it for them. Insannity and fox may as well name Fox the Obama show 24/7.

I didn't realize how ignorant, racist and insane a lot of people in this country really are. I see it like this these people are already blaming Obama for all of the damage Bush/Cheney have done to the country.

Now,if the win a majority in the house and senate especially the senate, they will begin blocking any and everything Obama does bringing up more and more lies and the ignorant and insane will believe that he is the blame because we have some fake ass Dems who are really republicons, they aren't helping us.

A lot of these people don't really give a damn about this country they are more worried about their pocketbooks and they are worried about how they can hide all of their money and what loopholes that they can put into these bills for certain areas of this country and for their families and friends.

A lot of these people in the house and senate don't give a damn about us. They want us to worry about people in other countries which I do, and if they have a good education, food and shelter when we have millions hungry and homeless in this country.
