Obama has bent over backward for months

Even if he bent over frontwards for Republicans, they still wouldn't vote for health-care reform.

1. Obama seems to have forgotten one thing:

Republicans did not vote for him, and wouldn't have done it if they'd had a gun to their empty heads. He needs to be working to please those who did vote for him, hoping for health care reform.

2. Even if Obama allowed the GOP to write the bill in its entirety

They would not vote for it.

I don't believe that Obama is that politically naive, especially after they were allowed to gut the stimulus bill, which none of them voted for.
