Glenn Beck's statement on Van Jones's resignation
http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/198/30154/

"The American people stood up and demanded answers. Instead of providing them, the Administration had Jones resign under cover of darkness. I continue to be amazed by the power of everyday Americans to initiate change in our government through honest questioning, and judging by the other radicals in the administration, I expect that questioning to continue for the foreseeable future."

2. I take pleasure knowing he now has to live confined
in a gated house with security guards escorting him everywhere. He has lost his privacy, and I hope he sweats it out everyday of his slimy life. Now that Van Jones is gone, the racist Beck should resign or be fired. But that would take an ethical network, so that's not going to happen.

18. Are You Kidding - This Will Only Embolden Him.......
next time you see him on the TV - he will gloat and be ready to knock off his next candidate. Maybe the new manufacturing guy I read about in another thread or for certain he will be scrutinizing the list of White House visitors and be finding fault with many on it. This resignation just legitimized him.

4. They did? I missed it. I don't think I've seen many American people bother to
demand answers about anything, even things like torture, war crimes, or why bailed out banks continue to rip us off.
I don't think most people still even know who Van Jones is. Sorry, Glenn, only the radical fringe watch your sideshow.

Sadly, Jones decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Too bad. He was one of the good guys. You're not.

5. lets see, we have a fucking lunatic who has called our President racist, and hates white people
and he is still on the air?

If Democrats or progressives had any real guts they would drop any level of cable or satellite service to whatever level does NOT have faux news

Even if you don't watch it, you are still paying for it. Speak with your pocketbook

7. Beck is a threat to this country
The worst part about all of this, is that while the extremist right is doing everything possible to take down Obama....Obama is shielding Bush and Cheney

8. Beck's Ultimate Goal
Edited on Sun Sep-06-09 07:37 PM by msans
Doesn't Barack get it, this isn't about getting one or two so called "radicals" out of government,

this is about building a case to impeach obama

Obama is making beck's job easy

Bipartisanship died when JFK died, Obama needs to understand that

repukes will never comprimise on their lunatic principles

9. This is the Republican strategy.
Edited on Sun Sep-06-09 07:36 PM by Ruffhowse
It's very simple. Fling enough crap at Obama and at least some of it will eventually stick. Doesn't matter how far out or extreme it is, just fling whatever you can at him. It will distract and immobilize his administration as they have to constantly play defense. They did the same thing to Kerry and to Clinton. That's it, nothing complicated about it.

11. Basically, they're trying to overthrow the govt.
It's beyond trying to negate the election, they're trying to take over the whole damn thing by hook or crook.

Conspiring to overthrow the govt. is TREASON. We need to round up all of the repuke leaders and throw them in the slammer. Shut 'em down.

17. Nobody outside of Fox News was even reporting on any of this
I'm sure most of the country awoke to the news of a midnight resignation and said "Van who?"

It really is a strange situation. There has to have been more to it than we know, because resigning under these known circumstances just doesn't make sense.
