Seems fitting. I was there on election night, I'll be there on this issue that will make or break his presidency for me.

9. This needs another kick
because this is something we can all do - get out to a vigil - September is our month to fight for health care. Hope to see some more posts from people planning to attend. And we could compare notes tomorrow.

13. I was at the one in San Jose on Winchester
and Stevens Creek. There were at least 50 people on that street corner; and believe it or not, it got the most responses I've ever seen from passing motorists. I've seen people there before protesting the war in Iraq and the election in Iran but they never got the level of response from drivers that we did tonight. Cars honked loudly and often as they passed by. I really didn't expect such a response, but it's sure good to know that a lot more people wants reform than I thought.

14. September is our month
About 70 people showed up at a busy intersection in S. Pasadena last night, and it was amazing how many honks we got. But I e-mailed back to MoveOn the vigils need to start earlier because it's getting dark sooner. Particularly if we're trying to catch the attention of vehicle traffic. There was not one Bircher or Birther, but next time we should bring whistles, maybe a drum, and a bullhorn.
