Ted Kennedy Was The First Major Politician To Call Bush (Dubyah) A Liar
Edited on Wed Aug-26-09 09:04 PM by MannyGoldstein
Soon after Bush attacked Iraq as a testosterone boost, Kennedy literally starting yelling on the teevee that Bush was a liar.

I felt so proud that he was my senator.

While the others voted for war, voted for the "Patriot" Act, and generally pretended they were Republicans, Kennedy was a Democrat.

We won't be seeing much of that anymore, unfortunately.

Well, maybe we'll elect Barney Frank to fill Kennedy's seat, and then we'll have another senator to be proud of.

4. Any chances for Barney, you think?
Will have to get past an 'interim' Senator first, tho.

5. Possibly.
I believe the interim senator would not be allowed to run.

7. Not according to NPR today.
They said he'd expressly said he would not seek Ted's seat.
