although I haven't decided who to vote for in the primaries. I find it hard to believe that the Dean campaign would have to stoop so low.. He's the front runner, he doesn't have the need to fight this dirty. I think GOP operatives are planting this stuff to smear and destroy him. I think they are ready to dump Bush and Clark is their new man.
He's desperate. He now has handlers, just like the chimp. He sticks his foot in his mouth every time he opens it. He lies. He flip-flops on issues. CNN showed the flyer his people were handing out. GUILTY as charged. I knew there was something MORE I didn't like about Dean.
I'll bet Rove's fingers are all over these things. Pull enough dirty tricks and the Democrats whose candidates don't get the nomination will be too bitter to get behind the nominee.
Seriously, this has been one of my concerns for a while now. When "grassrooters" are left to do as they please to support their candidate, they may not always do things that the campaign would like to have done. This could be true of anyone's supporters. I think that is one of the dangers that comes from what everyone is calling this new way of handling political races. What do you think?
That's one reason that I have never complained about the so-called "top down" set-up in our campaign. I have been advised many many times of things NOT to do b/c of its reflection on our campaign.
