Has anyone said I'm sorry to the African American involved in the Rosa Parks incident?
Has anyone released her name? I feel terrible for her and I want to send my sympathies. It seems like we're so angry, and rightfully so, at the people involved in the hatred that we're forgetting the victim in this case.

How is she feeling right now? I'd like her to know that there are people of ALL colors that support her interest in the process and applaud her for her spirit. Watching what happened to her has saddened my heart.

I wish I knew your name, but I'm behind you either way, and I'm so sorry this happened to you in 2009 America.

1. She should get a public apology from every media outlet that
only showed her being dragged out of the meeting without showing that SHE was the one who was attacked.

2. Here, here. So typical of the msm today.
Today. Funny. Everyday. For all days. Hell, they've been like this since the first newspaper.

11. I absolutely think she needs an apology from the media
However, in an earlier post, yesterday I think, I did note that I would like to cut off the balls of the moran who ripped up the poster. If anyone here knows her, please pass on my thoughts.

3. Maxine Johnson of St. Louis, Mo.
I have never heard of this website, so pls. keep that in mind... Seems she was on cnn.

http://www.popdecay.com/2009/08/racists-attack-black-woman-at-mccaskill-townhall-meeting-prelude-to-war/

snip//

The black woman, Maxine Johnson of St. Louis, Mo. told CNN today that there were many anti-Obama signs with racial slurs on them at the townhall meeting. She also told CNN that sheriffs informed her that they could not guarantee her security, and that she had better leave the area because “these folks are nasty.”

Are Democratic leaders going to ignore this race-based hateful act of aggression and intimidation? Doing so can only lead to a proliferation in abuses by these Democracy-hating and seemingly homicidal sociopaths.

5. Thank you Sister, I knew I could count on you.
Not a bad story.

I'll just say, I'm sorry Maxine, for now.

10. Charles Manson's dream might come true after all
He said "the piggies" wanted to start a race war, and although it took 40 years, that might well be the case with these teabagger fuckwits.

7. wow
just wow

The election really has brought out the cockroaches, hasn't it?

I have to hope McCaskill didn't realize what had happened. If she did, she should have stopped right then and there, walked out. She ought to do more than apologize. At least have a very public meeting with the woman.

You have to wonder if the cops were really being solicitous of her safety - both before and after the incident - or were they sympathetic to the thugs?

8. Unfortunitly I never wonder if cops were being sympathetic to thugs.
As long as the guys are white, and "right" the cops won't fight.

12. God, I am tired beyond any measure of the jackboot thuggery and vile soullessness
flowing like a river from the Reich.

We can't allow this to go on any more. They must be stood up to and defeated be it an arena of the mind or physical. You can't defeat ignorance, greed, and maliciousness but damn it if they can't be pruned back some.
