I like the idea of a President who listens to what people are saying. And responding with a hand written letter! Wow!

6. I find it wonderful to know...

that we finally have a President who pays attention to the people. He is swimming upstream against foes that want to keep the status quo. It's nice to think that President Obama a man that stands so strongly and confidently in opposition to some of the most vile and hateful people that I have seen in my lifetime can gain strength from us. The sheer number of letters that he must have read thus far is amazing. Also, the hand-written replies are also a nice touch. Thanks for the link.

8. The President kind of made me feel like linus in the pumpkin patch

He does read and respond to our letters and I have a return letter pined up on my bulletin board to prove it.

I really thought while writing my letter that he would reply........ when I sent it off I felt like I was waiting for the great pumpkin.

So I encourage you to drop the leader of the free world a note from time to time.
