Obama to Meet with "Gang of Six"

Roll Call reports the bipartisan Senate Finance Committee "gang of six" negotiators are scheduled to meet with President Obama at the White House tomorrow.

In related news, The Hill reports Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) believes Democrats have the votes to pass health care reform "today."

3. President Obama needs to tell them that if they don't pass GOOD health care/insurance reform that

will actually keep costs down, and increase access to everyone, then they'll be voted out of office by the people, regardless of how much insurance lobbyist money they get.

5. it is kind of cool that Obama is continuing to give them every opportunity to hang themselves

as the report mentions...there is actually a lot of agreement on the Hill and it's not a matter of a bill passing. It's the particulars and specific date of it happening.
