Are you talking about the Senate Finance Committee hearing when Sen Baucus had doctors and nurses arrested for protesting for a single payer option and then, closed the hearings to the public...while the top health insurance lobbyists gave testimony....


The senate negotiation of removal of the public option and removing mandated employer health care coverage was negotiated BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.

How in the world did you conflate Obama with Baucus?

Baucus certainly never made any promise to conduct his business in public. The very reason Baucus *had* to conduct his meetings in private was to betray Obama and the Democratic party. You don't conspire to betray someone where that person can see/hear you.
