Nice piece by E.J. Dionne in the Washington Post

What's good for Dan Rather, who is not running for president, ought to be good for George Bush, who is. "There are a lot of questions and they need to be answered." Surely that presidential sentiment applies as much to Bush's Guard service as to Rather's journalistic methods.

An old pols saying: It's better to lose the election than lose control of the party" There are (I hate to admit) some decent republicans who must be taking gas over the Bush thugs and it wouldn't surprise me if they pull the rug just enough to take that pile of shit down.

There's Lugar, Hegel and pretty much the entire State department including Powell who will probably never forgive Bush for sending him off to lie to the UN.
