So white America, there will be times when he will say and do things that might make you feel uncomfortable. He is a BLACK MAN who has gone through some shit and may have a different perspective about that shit than mainstream America. There will be times when you may wish he didn't go there, but it is coming from a place of love.

This BLACK MAN went to go the NAACP convention and put BLACK deadbeat fathers BLACK dropouts, and the BLACK COMMUNITY on BLAST! Black America took it, because we know that there are some things that are fucked up in our community that only we can resolve.

When a crippled, old Black Man is arrested on his porch for being mouthy to a cop, he calls those actions stupid, you'll lose your damn minds.

Its been this way for a long time but has only gotten worse over the years.

Being a political junkie I read all sorts of books on politics but "What it Takes" by Richard Ben Cramer about the 1988 primaries and general election is awesome. Its one big study on how the press plays "gotcha". I read that recently and I was never the same...the way the press went after our current VP and even Gary Hart was disgusting. The thing is, they are blatant about it twenty years later. Its just getting worse and worse.
