My stocks are in the tank
The market’s crashing all around me.
My 401k’s blank, the money's gone, to fund AIG
The Footsie dropped 10 points and Paris Stock Exchange is burning
But even through all this,
The world keeps turning

I made it through Bush one
And when Bush two came in I thought I’d
Be okay in the end, but now my credit cards are all fried.
I hope that history will castigate this bunch of losers
That crew down in DC act like they’re boozers.

We’ve all gone broke, for stupid wars
And managed to slam all the doors
On all our friends and allies too
They say “It's all your fault. Fuck you!”
But we’ll all make it in the end
And bill our children!
