If Healthcare Delayed Past Recess, Will GOP Display A "Mission Accomplished" Banner?

We have Senator McConnell echoing Bush and declaring that the U.S. has the best healthcare system in the world. We have Senator Demint, RNC Chairman Steele, and RW columnist Kristol saying that they will have achieved victory and killed healthcare reform if they can delay healthcare reform so that it does not take place prior to the August recess. In light of the increasing confidence of the Republicans that delaying healthcare reform will "break" President Obama, should we expect mission accomplished banners if the Republicans are successful in dragging their feet?

start pushing.

The Administration should have something planned to come down
on the Republicans like a ton of bricks if we are delayed until
after the recess.

They need a war room and start hitting back. That hit at DeMint
was great.
