Let's let the world know we trust CBS more than Fox, CNN, NBC, etc.

Let's also let them know that the reason we trust them is that we consider Dan Rather to be the most honest reporter on the mainstream networks. CNN, Fox and other stations are reporting unfounded rumor about the documents and are not backing up their allegations with any kind of facts. CBS did not have to check out the documents. They could have been like the other networks. Dan Rather seems to be dedicated to the truth. Last night the truth helped Bush. However, (in other interviews) he also exposed the truth behind the documents - the information in them is correct. At least one group has voted to recognize Dan Rather with an American Hero Award for his honesty and integrity. We should get all our clubs and central committees to make statements about his honesty. Remember, nationally there are more of us than of them and if we encourage all Democrats to focus on CBS and name Dan Rather's honesty as the reason, perhaps the other networks will try to copy his style.

BTW, I have often been critical of CBS and their affiliates. But we need to draw a line in the sand here and get 50 million viewers behind CBS.
