Today's Gallup Tracking Poll-60% approve, 33% disapprove
Just yesterday was 58% approve, 36% disapprove. Why such a big change? I like it, though. :D http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx

1. There's always some statistical noise. You have to look at
trends, not individual results. Looks like Obama is holding pretty steady around 60%.

7. They've all been claiming slipping, and saying "he will slip" and "past presidents were at the same
level of support at this time."

blah blah blah.

8. Yup. They want to make him look weak at this time that he's trying so hard to get
health care passed.

5. Razzie polls are the most skewed and innaccurate polls around
CNN cracks me up because they did a poll of polls recently on Obama's overall job performance and it was 60%.

10. Obama is extremely popular on a global scale as well
The Obama Effect Considered

This is especially encouraging to me because during the election, he was generally seen (if you believe poll results) as relatively weak in the areas of foreign policy and national security.

15. Why Can't Obama "Close the Deal"?
Same as it ever was with the MSM...

The President is doing fine. In fact, he's doing splendidly well, all things considered.

And they know it.

18. It is odd all the sharp swings..
I think people are reacting to current news which tends to be sensationalized by the media -- both negative and positive.

22. No there was a 2 point bumb
Which is statistically insignificant because it is in the margin of error. That's different than saying no change. However if he gains another two points the next day (still within the margin of error) it would indicate a trend and no longer be statistically insignificant.

23. Look at the trend lines. The trend is down towards the high-mid fifties for approval.
