Obama to hold prime-time news conference - Wed 9PM EDT
WASHINGTON (CNN) — President Barack Obama will hold a prime-time news conference Wednesday, the White House announced Friday. The news conference will be held at 9 p.m. EDT.

The White House made its initial announcement of the news conference through the Web site Twitter.

Wow. Pressure's on, it sounds like not doing healthcare is simply "not an option", and Obama's "all in" on making it happen.

2. I love when he talks directly to the American people.
It is such a pleasure to look forward to seeing my President on the television. I used to mute the tv and turn the station really quick every time Bush came on. I hated the way he looked, the way he talked and the things he said. My kids laugh at me because I make popcorn and sit down before he comes on and I am as excited as a little kid getting ready to watch their favorite cartoon!! LOL!!
