Second Debate: Town hall meeting, Attendees selected by Gallup
The second debate is to be held as a town hall meeting, with questions posed by an equal number of "soft" supporters of each candidate chosen by the Gallup Organization.

That debate "shall not be limited by topic and shall include an equal number of questions related to foreign policy and homeland security on the one hand and economic and domestic policy on the other," the agreement says.

Sounds like the question will be scripted, giving shrub the chance to get versed by Carl on the answers

1. why Gallup? they have proven to be pretty biased
especially with the post RNC polling, where they defended polling higher numbers of likely republican voters than democrat and publishing a bogus statistic.

Gallup is a bad choice.

3. Would this be the same "Gallup" whose October 2000 poll
innacurately favored Bush voters by 13%?
Oh great.

5. Ok, so Kerry will have to answer questions from a bunch of Bush-supporters
Kerry will still do fine. He can answer hostile questions. Bush can't answer friendly questions.

10. Nope - real folks do not ask questions directly - they submit questions to
moderator - Charlie Gibson - who then rephrases them into softballs for Bush-

and into "have you stop beating your wife" format for Kerry.

6. The RW Gallup?
I KNEW there was NO WAY IN HELL they would let that idiot go before a REAL group of undecided voters. What a joke.

9. Yep..................
scripted questions, scripted answers. This is the only type of "debate" that the Cons would agree to with their mentally challenged candidate. Anything else would be "unfair" to Dumbya.
