EXCLUSIVE: President Obama Defends Right to Choose Best Care
In ABC News Health Care Forum, President Answers Questions About Reform

President Obama struggled to explain today whether his health care reform proposals would force normal Americans to make sacrifices that wealthier, more powerful people -- like the president himself -- wouldn't face.

I really, really, loathe the MSM. From the first sentence - Obama "struggled" to explain.

This is their new straw horse. Rich people will still have better healthcare! Oh Noes!

You know what? I ALREADY accept that. If someone very wealthy has some ailment and the very best treatment in the world is at some clinic in Zurich, then guess what? They are going to fly to Zurich and get the very best treatment in the world. Does that bother me that perhaps the American public option won't do that? Absolutely not! I also do not care if some private plans offer better, more comprehensive coverage than the public option. I imagine a plan like that might be more expensive, but some people with adequate resources would choose it. That is also fine with me, if that is how some of this shakes out. The current public plan that I am familiar with - Medicare does a great job as far as I can see providing almost all the coverages and treatments needed by the vast majority of Americans.

But some idiot Americans will be sold a stupid bill of goods that Obama will give them much crappier health than he himself has or can afford and some of them are probably dumb enough to shoot themselves in the foot over a complete bogus, straw man NON-ISSUE!!!!!

3. Double duty
Republicans / fox stating that it was unfair liberal bias, while the MSM is attacking obama using class warfare tactics to try to get him to stop.

All bases covered or an all out opposition to obama on health care change.

5. We must have a public option
Too many American's are being ripped off by the politicians and the profit machines. The health care system spends $ 1.4 Million per day lobbying Congress, that sure could go a long way to help so many folks who need health care. I know exactly what the outcome is of the status quo. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62 It's called quality health care in Tennessee and Virginia.
