And then he just 'disappears' to go 'hiking'

Perhaps he's realizing that he's a chump that can't governor worth a damn. A strong leader would have found a way to work with his legislative branch to get the legislation done without an embarrassing TEN vetos overturned. That's just HUMILIATING!!!!! And after making a bit stink about not wanting the Stimulus Money he's forced to accept it since everyone else in the stated wanted it.

Hell I'd go 'hiking' too if I was humiliated like that on my job.

Bad day for Sanford: S.C. lawmakers overturn 10 vetoes, go home for year

The State
COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina General Assembly overrode Gov. Mark Sanford's vetoes Tuesday and approved a bill to study and recommend changes to the state tax structure.

Lawmakers overturned all 10 Sanford vetoes, creating laws that would limit the number of payday loans, allow lawmakers to choose those who oversee state ports, and limit where sex

1. He's not a team player.
It's his way or the highway, so when he didn't get his way, he hit the road (or trail, if that's where he really is). Even the repubs in the legislature can't stand the guy. If you look up "poutrage" in the dictionary, you'll find a photo of Sanford right next to it.

An article in the Post and Courier said he ditched his security detail, so I have a hard time believing anyone in his office would actually give out his true whereabouts. I smell a rat.:wtf:

2. I just saw on MSNBC that the Appalachian trail would have benefited from
the federal money he refused...not to mention his schools in SC.

3. He was probably crying over a real estate deal that was going to fall thru
because he couldn't sell off the South Carolina part of the Appalachian Trail.

He is a horrid person. Hell right now he makes Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal look more 'presidential'

I have a feeling it's going to be another Bob Dole that runs in 2012. Republicans will want to focus on getting the Senate/House back and building a stronger candidate like they did with the Bush Brothers for 2000.
