9. why, you....
Obama=perfect?, hardly, but the odds of anyone else stepping up who would be better AND have a shot at winning, not that great.

Plus, with the party of No running around like they are, I see a wipeout ahead.

And, if there's a really progressive inside Barack Obama, it'll come out in January 2011 when he doesn't have to worry so much about surviving well for another term, IMHO.

Have a terrific weekend!

8. Here in Madison, a guy was selling Obama 2012 bumperstickers/buttons
I bought a button and mailed an Obama 2012 bumpersticker to a guy I know who is serving in the National Guard in Fort Bliss, TX... he put it on his car.

Might as well scream "MOVIE!" in a crowded theater while the previews and snack bar advertisements featuring dancing licorice are running.

20. SORRY
Unless he does something by the 2010 elections he will have squandered his mandate and lost the chances for the reform that he promissed. What is happening now is the Clinton presidency part II.

26. I sort of suggested it, just slightly before you did
but in different words...

In my post below titled, "The Prez steals the scene..," or something like that I said:

"He will have no trouble finding work in 8 years. We may have to rewrite the Constitution and let him stay longer."

Not the same actually as what you said, but I'm the first to put him down for 2016.
