1. Ed Shultz has been saying that the majority
of Americans want public health insurance. MSNBC.

2. Doesn't this undermine the argument that these pollsters have an agenda?
Edited on Thu Jun-18-09 01:54 PM by AlexanderProgressive
Some have suggested that these MSM polls want to undermine Obama by means of fudged numbers.
The positive numbers on the public plan do not seem to fit the narrative.

It is the REPORTING on these poll results that is wrong, as you suggest. So we should blame the MSM, as you accurately did; as opposed to the pollsters themselves.

3. No.
Polls showing Obama at 56% has little to do with how poll stories are being reported.

The fact that there is a health care debate going on, but the only thing that the MSM is reporting on is a drop in Obama's numbers exactly proves an agenda by the MSM.

MSNBC.COM used it this morning to hype up concern over the deficit.

6. Damn. They aren't watching enough television, then.
If they haven't been frightened off by the MSM's cries of socialism.

8. How Are Maddow and Olbermann Covering The Healthcare Debate?
I have been pleasantly surprised by The Ed Show, since he has been very forceful in his support for a public option, but when I've managed to catch Maddow and Olbermann, they are usually covering other topics like DADT, Iran and torture. How informative and comprehensive has there coverage been with respect to the health care reform debate, which is the hot topic at the moment?

I am looking forward to the ABC special, and I do hope that ABC does not buckle into pressure from the GOP, and come up with a reason for not airing the show.

9. Not nearly as much as I'd like
I'm in favor of repealing DADT, but there's this massive debate over health care reform and Keith and Rachel spend very little time on it.
