A recall election, you know. Maybe some former porn stars can run, etc.

Otherwise, why don't you let the federal government run as decreed by the constitution, AND NOT BY THE STROKE OF THE PRESIDENT'S PEN!*

* Insert terrible puns here.

2. It's like you're talking to someone ....
And I have no fucking clue who ....

I am guessing you are displeased by something you read in a few of many millions of DU posts .....

Maybe you need to start a few more of these monologue threads, just to make sure ....

5. Indeed ...
One could probably find 6,000 different recipes for Chicken Soup in here, if one were patient and determined ....

I find I care less and less what random DUers say or think, which is usuly less than the overall population ....

Yeah ... I am cynically independent ....

I like much of what he does, and dislike some other things ... Now there is a surprise ....

12. I love our President ...
BUT .... I appreciate dissent, and respect the right of others to exercise it ...

This thread, however, is hardly Pulitzer Prize material ...

My contributions included ...

13. I like your posts.
It was the other poster's use of "Pwesident" that I found childish and not helpful.

3. I still think President Obama is doing a good job.
And it will take time. But there are still issues I chose to advocate for. And there are some things that need to get done in my view.

Note that the Constitution starts with 'We the People'

15. This, of course, reminds me of the sad story of the copy editor
who, faced with having to write a headline for a newspaper story about the governor signing a bunch of new bills into law, decided to title it "Governor's Pen is Busy."

There wasn't much room on the front page that day and the typesetter had to cramp the line a bit to make it fit.

14. Recall worked so well in California.
And a lot of supposedly progressive people were behind recalling Grey Davis. And in replacing him with Gary Coleman or a goat wearing a bow tie. Fortunately they elected Der Gropenführer and the state is thriving now.

And heavens, gay rights are so much more important than saving the economy or universal health care. We don't care if we're living in refrigerator boxes (if we're lucky); what's important is marriage rights.

16. Gee, a recall election? That is not in the Constitution
We do not have recall elections for Presidents. Those claiming to understand the Constitutional requirements of the Presidency ought to know that, I'd think.
The Constitution does require the administration to investigate and prosecute all war crimes and violations of treaties. Let me know when that happens, and I'll show you the Constitutional process for the removal of a chief Executive.
But a recall? Er, you must be thinking of your State's process for your Governor. Even a US Senator can not be recalled.
Now. Continue with your lecture about the Constitution. Start with the parts about a recall election for the President.
