"David Letterman's comments about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and one of her daughters has prompted a hotel chain to pull its advertising on CBS' website — and spawned a campaign to fire the Late Show host that includes a planned protest outside his studio.

Embassy Suites, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp., pulled advertising on CBS' site because of complaints, company spokeswoman Kendra Walker told TVGuide.com. The company was not an advertiser on Letterman's show.

"We received lots of e-mails from concerned guests and we assessed that the statement that he made was offensive enough to our guests and prospective guests that we elected to take the ads down," Walker said. She declined to release the cost of the ads."

I am outraged that your company is changing it's advertising policy because of pressure from a right-wing extremist MINORITY group, namely Sarah Palin.
I think you need to rethink your policies for marketing, or the MAJORITY of your customers will not be happy. Not a good strategy in this economy.
Sarah Palin's views do not reflect the majority of American's views. Pay attention to the last national election. Stop bowing to pressure from extremists.

I will make sure I do not book Embassy Suite or Hilton for any future business travel for me, or anyone in my company, until I see a reversal in your marketing campaign.

but... I would hazard a guess that the majority of people who actually stay at Embassy Suites are not progressives. I will commit to not staying at their hotel (and I do live in hotels)

I will not be staying in any of your hotels because you pulled your ads from CBS.

Sarah Palin paraded her kids around during the campaign and used them as props. She knows Dave was talking about the daughter who was on the cover of People magazine with her baby talking about abstinence or whatever.

Palin preached lies and incited hate at her rallies against then Senator Obama and she hasn't apologized yet.

Michelle Malkin said it was a "terrorist scarf" (because it had a pattern vaguely similar to a kaffiyeh). Malkin yammered on about it so much ... and it started to spread through the right-wing media.

Dunkin Donuts PULLED THE ADS from television (because we all know what a major threat to our country Rachel Ray is :eyes:)
