The questions will come from an audience made up of Americans selected by ABC News for a special segment called “Questions for the President: Prescription for America” set to air at 10 p.m. on June 24, the network announced.
Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer will moderate the discussion, which ABC said will focus on different ideas for how to fix the health care system and how proposed changes will impact the economy.
ABC will air “Good Morning America” that Wednesday from the South Lawn - an episode that will include a Sawyer sit-down with the president and Robin Roberts’ interview with the first lady.
Gibson will anchor “World News” from the White House’s Blue Room that day, and the health care discussion will continue on “Nightline” at 11:35 p.m., ABC said.
