Call to action on health care reform. SERIOUSLY call your congressperson
I have done so last week as well as emailed them on their site email forms. The more of us who do this and tell our family and friends to do this....the more our congress will get an idea of just how p!ssed off we are at the status quo and the fact that OBAMA is right and groups like the AMA are wrong.

We won't stand by and let them paper this over any longer. It is unsustainable. We need real change.

I won't get into single payer vs. public option vs. whatever you personally believe is the "MUST HAVE". Just so long as our congress is hearing form a larger percentage of us that we ARE WATCHING and expect their leadership NOW.

Here's one example of a site that quickly links you to all of your state congressional delegation. Feel free to link to others you know of that may be better sources:

P.S. Yes, I know I was over the top on the Iran elections. I really don't want the U.S. to bomb anything. Haveing said that...I'm very bitter about how that turned out and it really does make President Obama's job going forward on Iran Nukes much more difficult.

1. I heard that email doesn't get read that much. You need to fax or phone or
send snail mail to get their attention.

2. yes. I've tried it before. CALLING is the thing. They will at least record your position
and from that see the "noise" level of their constituency on this issue. PHONE PHONE!!!!

Of course, if you have the time and want to write a physical letter, that is much better.

Senators Jon Kyl and John McCain.

Ever wonder where the phrase "Pissing Into The Wind" was born?

4. actually.....you still should. it matters.
those people pay attention especially since Arizona ought to be the next on DEM's hit list of "formerly red states" in 2010.

6. yes. Phone is almost better than letters or IN ADDTION to letters
because this action is happening fast and they can always say they don't get your letter for a month due to physical mail screening that happens ever since anthrax mailings in 2001.

7. Thanks for the link. I had emailed one of my senators, but now did
the other one, plus my representative. I think if you email from their personal web site, it might get a better chance of getting looked at. Senator Feingold stated that he answers the personal emails, but will not answer the group ones from various advocates.

I feel I have called, emailed and all that. But will it help. It gets depressing trying to fight this health care issue. Guess we keep at it.

11. My congressman is on board, but my 1 Democrat senator
is half a Republican. I've sent a couple of emails, but I don't think she cares whether I live or die.
