Think about it - this much publicity over a joke that wasn't really funny to begin with?

(Before anyone starts, I don't mean to say the joke was offensive - it certainly wasn't to me, anyway - I just didn't think it was among Letterman's best work).

And for that, I love Letterman - I stopped watching his show years ago because it just isn't that funny anymore, but he's doing more to make Palin look like the stupid whiny bitch she is than our entire party could. Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to assume that he's talking about your 14 year-old when your 18 year-old is the one who got knocked up?
