Daily Kos: FreeRepublic pulls thread from December praising James von Brunn

The details regarding the shooting at the Holocaust Museum in DC are still developing, and there are lots of good updates in the Breaking News thread on the rec list.

Think Progress found a thread from freerepublic.com which linked to some of the ideas written by von Brunn, in this case, regarding his belief that Obama has lied about his birthplace, among other things.

There were more than 250 replies in the thread, but from what I saw, no proof that van Brunn himself replied in the thread or was even a member.

just a few months into an Obama presidency, too. It's scary to think what the next 7 1/2 years will bring.

should be taken to task, too for their inflammatory and hateful rhetoric.
