As lame as Mush, Hannity, and O'Reilly are, I doubt they would suggest anybody target a museum.

I'm just saying it's a possibility some listener took his anti-Semitic rants to heart.

Right-wing radio host fights charges
Saturday, June 6, 2009
BY MATTHEW VAN DUSEN

NORTH BERGEN – Far-right radio host Hal Turner will spend the weekend in jail as he awaits a Monday court date where he will fight extradition to Connecticut on charges of inciting violence, according to his lawyer.

Township police arrested Turner, 47, on Wednesday at the request of the Connecticut Capitol Police, who have a warrant charging him for allegedly asking followers to "take up arms" against two legislators and a state official on his blog Tuesday.
...

Many commentators disagree with Turner, who has been called a racist, white supremacist and an anti-Semite. He frequently posts the addresses of officials and judges with whom he disagrees and makes reference to the power of the people to violently overthrow tyrannical governments....

If a guard was shot, and the shooter himself was hit, that would be my guess. Although just walking around DC with a goddamn rifle should be obvious enough.

8. Oh my, so much violence.
I think that the Holocaust Museum is the most moving, memorable and disturbing museum in the Smithsonian.

It's depressing to see what human beings can do to one another. Although the museum tries to make people leave with a sense of hope for humanity with the exhibits on the top floor.

There's so much hate out there.......

19. Funny, I had that conversation
last night with my husband when claiming I want the guy who assasinated the abortion doc to be held as a terrorist, because he had his ring of people who encouraged violence and terrorism at clinics.

He thought we were going too far by labeling everyone 'terrorist' when some people are 'just' murderers. I'd have to know what this guy's background is before calling him anything.

But their intent is the same.

23. They just said he was born in 1920, member of white supremacist group
anti-government, etc. So that makes him just shy of 90. Likely been rotten to his core for his entire life, given his belief system.

Am just thankful they stopped him before he killed any museum visitors, esp. with all those groups of kids there.

28. Some background here, though the wiki link is now locked...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:James_von_Brunn

James W. von Brunn, b.1920, attempted to place the Federal Resrve Board of Governors under legal, non-violent citizens arrest, 12-7-81. Von Brunn charged the FED with treason and other high crimes. The FED, a private stock-company, owned by International bankers, financed the construction of manufacturing plants in the Soviet Union during the "Cold War." War materials, produced by FED financed plants, were used by the Enemy against American military forces in Viet Nam, and elsewhere.

Von Brunn was tried and convicted by a Washington, D.C. kangaroo court; then sentenced to eleven years in federal prison by Judge Harriet Rosen Taylor; the sentence was confirmed by a racially motivated Appeals Court. Von Brunn was imprisoned for 6.5-years.

Von Brunn champions Western Culture, and the practice of Eugenics. He states that Marxism-Multiculturalism-Judaism is the Enemy of Mankind.citing Talmudic quotes to "Kill the Best Gentiles !"

Von Brunn was president of his college fraternity, SAE. He served as PT-Boat captain, USNR, during WW2, earning 4-battle stars and a Commendation Ribbon. His early business career was in NYC as copywriter, art-director and film producer; later as a real-estate broker; and lastly as a writer-artist.

.... he's not going to stop any time soon. The very first chapter in "Audacity" dealt with partisan bickering and the problems he believes it causes. Time and time again, he's said he's interested in solutions .... by any means necessary. ;)

The guy who did this....

Is the same guy who did this...

... and his motivation is the same.

He believes that, as long as we continue to choose sides over choosing a common goal, we're never going to get anything done. It's how he rolls ... take it or leave.

Problem is that the Repukes will oppose him no matter what he does. So hopefully, he won't let it water down his opinion on things like the health care plan.

Washington will always be partisan to a degree, and it's much worse with the Repukes.

.... that's the point. He extends an open hand, they slap it down, and he wins more votes in the process.

Again, the goal is not be successful in gaining bipartisan support, but APPEARING to want it. ;)
