Is Alex Sink a progressive candidate?
I'm starting to pay attention to the gubernatorial race down here in Florida, and after taking a good look to who seems to be our candidate, Alex Sink... and based on her website, she seems to be very focused on local government spending and that type of issues, but there is nothing on health care, social issues, education, etc.

So, anybody knows anything about this woman apart of what is on her website? Based on what I read there, I'm not impressed... so please give me a reason to support her! :)

1. I'm liking this man, Michael E. Arth!
Didn't know he was running... but seems to be a good candidate!

2. She grew up in Mayberry and is a descendent of the orginal Siamese twins
(well, Mt. Airy, NC which Mayberry was modeled after)

Seriously, yes she is progressive. Pro-union, pro-education, pro-choice. I don't know her personally, but I know a lot of people who know her.

I don't want to ascribe her husband's positions to her, but I heard her a lot when I was campaigning for his gubernatorial run in 2002. Bill McBride was a lousy candidate (even at the time, people said that she should have been the one running), but in terms of positions, he was the anti-Jeb.
