Shit, Why Did I Peek At morning joke (MSNBC)?
Edited on Mon Jun-08-09 06:31 AM by Dinger
Am I a masochist? That fucking idiot (joe, barnicle, and mika) talking about bork, bitching about the "mean ol' Dems", etc.). Damn, I need a drink! It's 6:30 in the morning.

P.S. chuck todd wasn't much better.

1. Chuck Todd
Edited on Mon Jun-08-09 06:46 AM by ErinBerin84
was almost funny last week, he said " I turned on Morning Joe the other day and heard everyone saying 'I liked what Margaret Carlson said' or 'I agree with Doris Kearns Goodwin', and I thought, what world issue relating to the Middle East are they talking about? No, it was plug, plug, plug. The three week plug for Scarborough's book." And Joe got pissed again at Chuck today, even though Chuck mostly agreed with Joe for five minutes about how mean Democrats are about supreme court nominations. At the end, Chuck said "To be fair, Republicans' hands aren't clean either. In the mid to late 90s, they held up lower court Clinton judicial nominations for YEARS." Joe got pissed and said "UM YEAH, I was actually talking about the Supreme Court. We could talk about other lower court nominations and about how Democrats were mad about Republicans appointing black and Hispanic conservatives." It ended with Chuck Todd rolling his eyes at Joe. Oh yeah, and earlier, Joe was saying "99...90% (which is it, Joe) of print journalists have a liberal bias, STUDY AFTER STUDY confirms it after every single election!"

5. It's true--MJ is the best of the worst.
Compared to F&F it's like Plato's Symposium. Of course, I could just turn the TV off. Yeah, right.

4. I thought it was interesting that they hardly breathed one word about the President at Normandy
as if it had happened weeks ago instead of just over the weekend since the show's last broadcast.

If you can't find something negative to say about President Obama, don't say anything at all, I guess . . .

6. My TV doesn't go on until at least 5pm
I have no stomach for the morning shows, and the mid day stuff isn't worth watching either.

7. Good for you!
If I can handle a few minutes of cutesy beauty queen on HLN, then I'll watch a little of that for the headlines...or, at least what they decide to push as being the headlines. Otherwise, I try to go out and have a life. Stopped watching Morning Joe a while back, and find that I'm healthier, more pleasant to be around...even more regular...for doing so. ;-)

8. So you could report back
and spare the rest of us from doing. You've done a great public service, my friend. Thank you. I will drink my morning coffee in silence.

9. Don't forget his blaming Nagin for the Katrina debacle!
He has gotten grotesque. Jonathan Capehart was trying to rebut him but Joe and then Mika ganged up on Jonathan.

And of course, the incessant flogging of his new book. That's getting really old.

Oh, and did you catch the teasing of that poor young intern?

Klassy with a K.

11. I equate watching Moron Joe to willingly sticking my fingers in the toaster while in a water puddle
Your brain will get more out of the toaster trick.

13. Is there a cable show that has less impact than that show? DU doesn't even bother with it much.

ya know when Pat Robertson is the only person making ANY sense that there is something really wrong.

I watch it every morning so I know what the talking points for the day are.

On Morning Joe it was "Most Americans agree with Dick Cheney." --- (Joe saw a poll that said this.)

It is amusing to see them making up all kinds of shit.
