11. Humans in general exaggerate facts to make points

This isn't just a DU thing. This happens in everyday life, at least in the everyday lives of people that I know. If people feel passionate about one issue they will often times, whether purposely or unintentionally exaggerate some points and claims as a way of driving home their point more clearly. I don't so much have a problem with the hyperbole. I have more of a problem with people getting so upset at someone's opinion. Name calling left and right (no pun intended), instead of just challenging the OP's point.
