2. I loved that. But none the less. The problem is this stuff is taped.
A lot of students will get that in their tapes---which would piss me off; but then I'd be excited that we shut them up.

4. And Faux will play it up
and turn up the volume making it seem like Obama was shouted down by a lone protester.

18. That's an uncommonly reasonable article for the A/P...
Clearly the writer's days are numbered.

12. The group who ruined ND's graduation were the media.
Randall Terry and Alan Keyes just follow the cameras.

17. I don't think they ruined it....
I actually think they enhanced it by creating a live juxtaposition to the exact thing that the President was speaking about. And they showcased how Obama actually handles controversy. He doesn't get angry...doesn't rebuke or belittle. And also showed that the overwhelming majority of attendees were enthusiatically on the side of the President.

That's the other way of looking at it, that I didn't think about. You made a great point.

21. No, I think they tried but they failed.
Obama did a great job of handling the whole thing with class by making his speech about the need to treat those we disagree with respectfully. And he did. And it sounded like 99.99% of the people there had his back on that point - the shouter just looked like a fool. And that can happen anywhere.
