3. Good Lord.... Look at the kooks with their model ships on their heads
Edited on Sun May-17-09 12:53 PM by hlthe2b
I know, I know they must depict the "great cathedrals" ... but on a tiny streamed video window they look like model ships... Apropros, since they are probably carrying on the GOP tradition of sailing the SS Terri Shiavo.... :eyes:

Amy Phoeler joked last night that the first line on Obama's epitath would one day read, "first black President of the United States."

You and I know he'd much prefer the description just given of him. He seemed to smile a bit at it I think.

The incredible overreaching hyperbole of right-wing fascists who EXPLOIT organized religion to attempt to impose mindless dogma on our political process and proclaim Inquisitorial litmus tests on secular office-holders is an assault on all that is reasonable and sane.

"together, we must find a way to live as ONE human family."

How easy it is for him to make others look so foolish.

110. Ah, but do those who so vehemently oppose abortion also oppose contraception?
The Vatican opposes both. The Vatican opposes condoms to prevent HIV/AIDS. Can there be common ground with such people?

99. He is a reasonable man with great intelligence and heart.
I am grateful that he is our president, I may not agree with him on all he does, but I believe his heart is in the right place and that he wants what is best for the citizens of the USofA.

He has touched me several times during this speech.
