Mustard? Is this all they have?
Edited on Fri May-08-09 09:32 AM by Sannum
I expect the freepers to come out and request impeachment proceedings any day now due to the fact our President likes dijon mustard.

I am known in my circle of friends and family as a very, very picky eater. American Cheese is an abomination, french's "Yellow Mustard" looks smells and tastes like toxic waste and don't even get me started with white bread! The best mustard isn't even grey poupon..which is american! I have it as a last resort, but I prefer the many wonderful types of brown mustard available - it needs to have seeds in it!

What goes on my burger? I like whole wheat buns, spicy brown mustard, swiss cheese and avocado on my burger - with a few sliced cherry tomatoes on top...that I leave on the burger for a few minutes and remove before chowing down. It leaves the sweet taste of the tomato without making things soggy. And yes, there is even a paticular order in which these condiments go. As a Chicagoan, I know that ketchup should not go near a hot dog OR Hamburger.

It is amazing how low the republican party has stooped. Is this all they have? We are still in a quagmire in Iraq, Unemployment is at a record high and the pain from their regime is still felt around the world. They have no solutions for this problem. They just rant and rave about "missing birth certificates", teabagging and mustard.

12. Never Fear.
When they all do lunch at Haute Nouvelle or even the local Country Club, their vinagrette on the house salad is more than likely spiked with the dreaded Dijon. It's also an ingredient in a bunch of other sauces and stuff as well.

Their precious bodily fluids have already been comprimised.

19. Neither yellow mustard
nor ketchup ever gets close to one of my burgers. Dijon is OK but like the OP a browner, spicier mustard - with seeds is much better!

25. I belong to the "NO condiments whatsoever" demographic
Edited on Sat May-09-09 01:03 PM by CakeGrrl
No mustard of any variety, ketchup, relish or mayo/Miracle Whip. That makes American potato salad an invention of the Devil as far as I'm concerned. :P

No veggies except grilled onion. If I want lettuce I'll have it in a salad.

Cheese? Sometimes cheddar or Swiss.

It used to be an ordeal to order plain burgers at fast food joints - sometimes they messed it up, or you had to pull forward into the wait space - but now they take it in stride and have it ready as fast as the standard ones.

I can appreciate the President's choice of Dijon over the radioactive French's. If I could like mustard, I'd eat something derived as closely from the seeds as possible. I'll eat dishes were the mustard seed is part of the recipe - just not in sauce form.
