I like that he switched parties if for no other reason than it is a public blow to the Thugs.

6. Somewhat favorable. He is my Senator, the RWers REALLY HATE him

for being too liberal, and I believe he has some idea of right and wrong. not too common in Congress.
I email him every few weeks - today kicked his ass about the need for him to support single payer and have the Bush regime arrested and then welcomed him to the Democratic party, the only decent and viable political party in the US.

His office staff usually responds with some sort of BS.

It's like an old joke - there are others who are worse, some of them "real" Democrats.
