1. Meh...they do that shit.
It's just a little rude and disrepectful. They can baptise me a Mormon as much as they want...I still think they're a bunch of loons.

They baptised Hitler for fucks sake.

4. Not trying to hate on anyone
but they pull this crap a LOT--baptizing famous people (or somewhat famous) w/out permission of the family.

My mother was brought up LDS and left the church and her family at 18. She was finally granted the excommunication, or whatever they call it. Anyway, she passed away last August and her sisters have been threatening my sister and I that they are going to have her re-baptized back into the LDS church. We promptly sent her a certified letter that if we ever discover this has occurred that we will obtain a lawyer and file a suit against the LDS church who agreed to do it and the sisters involved. So far we haven't seen it done but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. Don't get me started on how Mormons are such 'good people'.

18. My guess is that Obama has a Mormon in the family
I am not sure how collateral the family member has to be in order to qualify as a family member with authority to submit the names for these ordinances.

25. LOL!
Why not come back as something stronger disguised as milk (like quaaludes or something)... knock out their lights for a while so they can't get into so much mischief.

10. This is a big issue in the Jewish community
The Mormons have posthumously baptized many Jews, some of them famous (Anne Frank, for instance). There were negotiations, and they promised to stop doing it, but recently I read that they are at it again. This is quite an insult to the descendants of Holocaust victims in particular.

I was amused to find that one of my ancestors, who had been a circuit-riding Methodist minister, had been baptised Mormon.

13. How incredibly offensive. I'm putting Mormons on notice, right now,
that if they dare to do this to me after I'm dead, I'm coming back from the grave and they are gonna wish they'd never heard of frickin' Joseph Smith and the golden tablets.

17. Why in Elohim's name would anybody want to baptize Hitler?
Ghandi would deserve to be "pulled out of Hell" (if one were inclined to believe that's where "non believers in the One True God" end up)

But Hitler? Hell was made for fuckers like him. And the Bush Crime Family.

21. I wonder if somebody can head the Mormons off at the pass.
Send a "Cease and Desist" letter demanding they never baptise you.

Send it before your death and name your heirs as deserving of any compensation should they decide to ignore the cease and desist order.

When the Mormons come up to you in the afterlife, just say "no thanks" and continue your harp playing.

22. My great grandmother was baptized Mormon after her death.
I haven't had the heart to check my grandparents, who died in 2002 and 2003. Great grandma Winnie, though, was a devout Catholic and attended services every day. Her family had emigrated over from Ireland and fought with the English Protestants for so very long. It was a fight they instilled in all my family, so even if many have stopped believing in the Church, it's still something we all associate with. Basically, we call ourselves Irish-Catholic, even if many of my cousins now don't consider themselves religious.
