...cspan had a two hour In Depth interview with the woman in charge and she explained how the whole thing works (it's probably archived). The bottom line is ACORN has to - by law - return every voter registration card that is filled out - even if it is filled out by Mickey Mouse and if they do get cards filled out by Mickey Mouse they separate it out and get rid of the person that handed it in.

There is no fraud.

They were paying people to register voters and paying them proportionate to how many they registered, and the people they were paying were filling out false registration forms to collect bigger paychecks. It was NEVER about "voter fraud", it was abour defrauding Acorn out of their cash. There was ZERO chance "Mickey Mouse" was ever going to show up at a polling station and try and actually cast a vote. But the media didn;t really care about explaining it properly, ACORN liked Obama.... there was some kind of fraud going on... OMG, VOTER FRAUD IN OBAMA'S CAMP!!!

that were filled out. They also alerted authorities to the forms that they thought were not kosher, i.e., forms filled out for Mickey Mouse and other fictitious characters. The wingnuts consistently have lied about the facts and painted ACORN as some incredibly powerful interest groups that has swayed elections through "voter fraud" when there has been only a handful of cases of proven voter fraud and I don't recollect any being associated with ACORN. They helped register people. It isn't "voter fraud" until someone votes illegally.

12. I can't believe I used to like him

During the days when he was doing the "Outsourcing America" series, I used to watch him every night. The series hit home because I was in a position of having to "train my replacements" while waiting to be laid off from my job at that time.

But, when Bush was declared the winner in 2004, and, his very first show after the election talked about Bush's "mandate", I never watched him again.

I think he is a first-class idiot.

I had no idea until last week. I was driving through Waco, TX and flipping FM radio channels when suddenly his voice filled my car. Believe it or not, he actually tones down his rhetoric when he's on television. The guy is a complete nut.
