Tweety: It was Biden that really pushed Specter to switch
Tweety was saying that Biden had always tried to convince Specter to become a Democrat, but beginning in February of this year, Biden really started pushing Specter hard to switch parties. Gov. Rendell also helped Biden to make this happen.

I bet Tweety knew this was coming since he is pretty involved in PA politics.

5. Does anyone know why it is alright for Ed Rendell to get some sort of road system
built in Pennsylvania or his wife nominated to the Supreme Court but Blago is on charges for getting a pay for play scheme up and running? (If you were listening to the discussion among Andrea Mitchell, Chris Matthews, and the two tone guy whose name has escaped me.)

Why is this business as usual and it's legal and Blago's crap is b.s.?

Anyone know why this parallel is acceptable?

7. Joe did good. Specter is not perfect but this is a blow to Rethugs and an extra vote for cloture.
:)

8. Fast Eddie was involved as well. I guess Tweety can go back to his Republican roots
now that he is no longer in consideration. Punk ass! :puke::puke:

9. "His Republican roots"?
Right, like serving as a member of Tip O'Neill's staff.

10. Please! Tweety is a Reagan Democrat who voted for BUSH twice! He has admitted that he
is a conservative, Reagan Democrat who has voted for Republicans before. Yes, I know that he worked for Carter and Tip, but he is incredibly flaky and is more willing to demonize the Dems than the Reps. I can't this racist idiot and his "regular guy" divisive rhetoric.
