Watching a clip of McCain on one of the Sunday shows sure does help to give perspective
Hard to be anything but crude here:

If that fucking guy- wholly unispiring and sadly headed down the road to dementia were actually the titualar head of the United States government...

As much as we have disagreements with policies- and as rational and compelling as those policy differences might might be, the batshit crazy crowd on the far right is at least beginning to be relegated back to the fringe.

1. he's one of the best voices on torture though
the torture advocates are making some outrageous claims about torture and about people that oppose it, the presence of McCain makes it much more difficult for these people.

Not to mention Vice-President Nitwit, who undoubtedly would be forced to take over for President McNuts after his mental breakdown became evident.

I'm quite glad we avoided a McCain-Palin administration.
